China is the world’s largest producer and consumer of rice noodles. To date, 65% of rice noodle production remains labor-intensive, operating on a semi-manual, semi-mechanized basis.
Over 90% of manufacturers still use fragmented production equipment layouts, resulting in low levels of automation across their entire production lines, severely hindering their efficient and large-scale development.
Through years of R&D investment, HICOCA has effectively solved the automation challenges of six major rice noodle product categories:
HICOCA provides domestic and international users with automated production lines from rice preparation to finished product packaging. Compared to traditional production lines with the same capacity:
HICOCA Straight-Line Dry Rice Noodle Efficiency Analysis
The production line achieves intelligent and automated operation at each stage, requiring only 4–5 people for the entire process. This reduces labor costs by 2/3 compared to traditional rice noodle workshops or semi-automated production, significantly lowering labor costs.
The rice noodle drying room adopts an energy-saving drying solution, controlling electricity consumption per ton of rice noodle to 75 kWh. Compared to traditional drying methods, drying costs are reduced by more than 40%, with high operational stability, ensuring better rice noodle quality.
Only 1.5 tons of water are used per ton of rice noodle, significantly reducing wastewater discharge. Compared to traditional soaking and washing systems, 3–5 tons of water are saved per ton of rice noodle.
Traditionally, each ton of rice noodle consumes 1 ton of gas; this complete set of equipment reduces gas consumption by more than 15–20%.
By using new technologies to innovate and empower industrial upgrading, and relying on core strengths to forge industry benchmarks, HICOCA makes rice noodle production simpler, more efficient, more environmentally friendly, and more competitive, leading China’s rice noodle industry into a new track of high-quality development driven by science and technology.
