On the morning of December 10th, Her Excellency Ambassador Oliver Wonekha of Uganda to China led a delegation to visit and exchange with Qingdao HICOCA Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. Many officials from the Ugandan Embassy and Consulates in China, the Department of Regional Economic Cooperation, the Protocol Department, the Investment Authority, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, as well as representatives of the enterprise, visited together.
The delegation first conducted a thorough on-site visit to the production and assembly workshop of HICOCA Food Equipment. Li Juan, the General Manager of International Trade, provided the ambassador and his delegation with a detailed introduction to the research and development details, production processes and technological innovations of core products such as the intelligent noodle production line and the fully automatic rice noodle equipment.
It is known that currently, over 40 enterprises in Chengyang District have established economic and trade cooperation with Uganda. Chairman Liu Xianzhi warmly welcomed the delegation and said, “HICOCA has always been committed to promoting the upgrading of the global staple food industry through intelligent equipment. Uganda has abundant agricultural resources and a huge potential in the food processing market, which perfectly aligns with our technical advantages. We hope to find a win-win cooperation point through this exchange.”
HICOCA System presented the company’s development history, core technologies, market layout and future strategies. It particularly emphasized the situations in areas such as local services in overseas markets, technical training, and equipment customization. Moreover, it proposed specific cooperation ideas with Uganda in fields like flour and cereal products, and agricultural product deep processing.
Ambassador Oliver Wonekha expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception and technical capabilities of HICOCA. Uganda is committed to promoting agricultural modernization and the development of the agricultural processing industry. The intelligent equipment provided by Hakogya is exactly what Uganda needs. The Ugandan side is willing to offer support in areas such as policy consultation and investment environment, and jointly promote practical cooperation to ensure the implementation of the project.
The two sides exchanged views on the development of China-Uganda relations, the current economic situation, the trend of agricultural cooperation, and favorable investment policies. They also delved into specific issues such as technology transfer, capacity cooperation, market access, and local production. The atmosphere at the scene was lively, and consensus was continuously formed. This exchange not only deepened the Ugandan government’s intuitive understanding of HICOCA’s technical capabilities but also laid a solid foundation for subsequent efforts to promote equipment exports, technology cooperation, and even local investment.
HICOCA will continue to uphold the concept of “technology sharing and industrial win-win”, actively respond to the “Belt and Road” initiative, and with China’s intelligent manufacturing, help global partners including Uganda achieve the upgrading of the food industry, providing HICOCA solutions for cross-border cooperation of new quality productive forces.
